The Light Aluminum Hub wagon wheel is built using a cast aluminum hub, hickory spokes and felloes (wood rims), and a steel tire. Although these wheels are designed primarily for decorative applications, they are sturdy enough to hold a considerable amount of weight. These wheels are used on most of our decorative wagons, and will hold several hundred pounds. Since there are no bushings or bearings in the hubs, they will not wear well if rolled around a lot, but will stand up to minor, light use. Available in 18”, 20”, 24”, and 28” diameters. Each wheel weighs about 7 pounds, and comes with a 1/2” bore in the center of the cast aluminum hub.
